Marketing Landing
As part of their final year of study at the University of Guelph-Humber, Media Business students have been tasked with completing the Marketing Makeover Challenge. Part of this year’s Emerge program, the challenge offers students a unique opportunity to apply their Media Business skills to a real-world project. After an unprecedented past year, eight teams will be presenting a compelling marketing solution in response to their respective clients’ challenges. The event will be livestreamed here at EMERGE Events on March 30, 2021, beginning at 5:00 p.m.
The Companies
Beauleigh has tasked us with the challenge of creating a marketing campaign that will ultimately increase foot traffic in Toronto’s PATH system in the aftermath of COVID-19.
Panterra Press has asked our teams to develop a North American marketing campaign for two books for emerging authors: The Trusted by John M. Green and The Day the Lies Began by Kylie Kaden, which will be on-sale in North America in late 2021.
Our teams are tasked with putting together a marketing campaign to help GHF broaden the geographic base of donations beyond the Georgetown area – most notably in Brampton, where many residents make use of the Georgetown Hospital regularly.
Our teams are working with The Chelsea to drive a clear channel of communication between the Chelsea Hotel and their consumers to create a profitable and positive experience, ultimately leading to an increase in awareness, engagement and occupancy.
